A winner of Best Service in the Traveler's Choice Award 2012, the Hotel Niwa Tokyo is one of the top 10 hotels for service in Japan. For a country that is world-renowned for its excellent service, that is a serious accolade. The word niwa means "garden" in Japanese, and the hotel's convenient location in Central Tokyo between two stations, Suidobashi and Jimbocho, makes it a real oasis of calm in an otherwise bustling metropolis.

The hotel lives up to its name, with a refreshing smattering of greenery at the front entrance. Entering the lobby reveals a stylish inner-décor, with a wonderful mix of Japanese traditional and modern styles. The hotel also has a Japanese-style inner garden which adds to the relaxing ambiance of the building's architecture.

Rooms are elegant, and tastefully designed, with Wi-Fi accessible for guests throughout the entire hotel. There are a wide range of rooms to choose from, Standard, Superior, Comfort and Premium, depending on guests' individual wishes. The rooms are neatly designed and laid out, even down to the smallest detail. For example, each room has a safe, but within the safe is a power socket for charging expensive electrical items.

Sit back and unwind in one of the massage chairs in the Relaxation Lounge that looks out over the rooftop mini garden with the city as a backdrop. Alternatively, release the stress from your travels in the Workout Room. Feeling peckish? The hotel has two restaurants to choose from: The Grill & Bar Lieu, which serves up fine, fresh French cuisine, and Yukuri, which offers traditional Japanese kaiseki ryori - a multi-course  Japanese-style of dining (great for those who like to try a bit of everything).
